Dairy Queen began with a new dessert treat and turned it into one of the largest restaurant chains in the world. Sherb Noble established the first Dairy Queen in 1940, featuring a new soft-serve treat. Dairy Queen grew in popularity at a phenomenal rate, with over 1,400 locations opened by 1950.
There are more Dairy Queens in Texas than any other state, and Brady's Dairy Queen has proudly served the people of Lubbock and West Texas since 1982. We're continuing Dairy Queen's legacy of tasty food and delicious frozen treats, and we helped make Dairy Queen a Texas tradition.
